This section is to assist you with your pactical test.

The practical driving test is designed to assess your ability to drive.

In order to pass your test the examiner will assess you ability on the following:
A Basic understanding of how the car works, and that it is safe to use
Driving competently and Safely under varying road and traffic conditions
A consideration for other road users, and pedestrians
Being able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Highway Code whilst driving
Completing a set of manoeuvres
Covering all the topics you have covered on your lessons

In order to pass the driving test you must not commit more than 15 driving faults, or 1 major fault

The Driving Test Costs £56.50 This Changes to £67.00 on Evenings and Weekends.

 

On your test, there are parts of an engine that you will need to point out to your examiner. These are:

where the brake fluid is stored, where the engine coolant is stored, where the engine oil is stored and where the windscreen washer is stored.

With all of these you will need to know how to check if they are too full/empty
